Republicans aren’t very good at this whole Big Lie about anti-Trump and anti-ICE raids protests, but Governor Abbott really betrayed the lie by ordering the National Guard to his state of Texas in advance of Saturday’s protests.
This proves that the National Guard is not being deployed because the situation is out of control, but rather as a form of intimidation against the First Amendment rights of Americans.
“Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to deploy National Guard across the state in response to protests,” ABC News reported.
