The Real Story Of Joe Biden’s Presidency
Foreign policy, especially matters of international conflict is one of the biggest and most difficult challenges that any president can face. International conflicts between other countries often leave a president with a situation where they have little direct control and few good options.
Joe Biden didn’t start any wars, but he has spent much of his presidency dealing with a conflict in the Middle East, which itself is a puzzle that has befuddled presidents of both parties for decades. Biden has also had to navigate supporting a US ally after Russia invaded Ukraine.
Republicans and their partners in big media created a narrative about Joe Biden and his presidency that both were ineffective because of Biden’s advanced age, but Bob Woodward’s new book War paints a very different picture of the Biden presidency from the inside.

The above is the first page of the epilogue of Woodward’s new book.
Bob Woodward has closely observed presidential administrations from the inside for his books for decade. Woodward used words like good governance and teamwork to describe Biden.

Ideally in a democracy, the free press would report on and push for good governance. Our press is supposed to be holding those in power to account, so that they govern honestly for the people, but that is not what our press does, and current Republican Party has turned to one of the greatest sources of political corruption in the history of the country for leadership.
This through the looking glass moment has resulted in good governance being viewed as the enemy in many circles and the question is why?
