Dr. Oz Briefing Backfires When Asked About Trump's Health
Dr. Oz took the podium on Tuesday to fill in for Karoline Leavitt, and turned a question about why Trump has taken so many physicals and turned it into a debacle.
Questions are growing around Donald Trump’s health. With Karoline Leavitt on maternity leave, various members of the Trump administration have been filling in for her, and on Tuesday, it was CMS Administrator Dr. Oz at the podium.
All of the administration officials understand that their primary duty is to bend the knee and flatter Trump at all times.
The directive to kiss Trump’s ring ran straight into the growing questions about the president’s health.

A reporter from The Daily Mail asked Oz:
This is the fourth checkup that the president has had. He's supposed to have one a year. He's had several CT heart scans. What are the doctors looking for? And second question, I think you might like this one better. Who has been your favorite cabinet secretary so far to do the briefings at the podium?
Oz chose to avoid the Trump health question by answering the second part first.
Dr. Oz said:
That may not be my favorite question. That might... I they're all obviously different. I think Scott Bessent's dry humor is fabulous. Marco is just an earnestly funny person. We can tell all kinds of stories about Marco's entertaining commentary. I think JD was spectacular. He's just very on his game, understands the issues, and he understands the American people, which is I appreciated his presentation so much. And I did watch them all, by the way, just to prepare. We- I'm a doctor. I try to do my homework. I prep for the case.
Oz tried to change the question, but couldn’t run from it.

Oz tried to change the question, but couldn’t run from it.
Dr. Oz showed that he would rather talk about anything else instead of Trump’s health, “The the first issue was about Ebola. No about..”
The reporter corrected Oz, “About President Trump's, the, his exam, examinations. He has had four already. He’s supposed to have one a year.”
Oz then repeated the company line, but added a new twist:
I actually have talked to the president about what he's sent to all of you, and I think it's just a routine regular exam.
You remember I had the president on my show 10 years ago, and he also presented records. And at the time, I was stunned at, at how well he was doing because so many of these numbers naturally over time will start going in the wrong direction. But if you look at these records, uh, they're spectacular.
You know, his cholesterol, his blood pressure, all the numbers are starting in, in excellent s- uh, uh, parameters. His ability, and, listen, I work with him frequently, many of you get to see him almost every day. That amount of energy and that amount of mental acuity does not exist in a vacuum.
You have to have a vessel to carry it, and the president has a unique ability to just keep going at all hours of the day with remarkable strength.
Oz also claimed that Trump keeps getting physicals because he likes the results:
According to Oz, Trump isn’t just superhuman; he is reverse-aging like Benjamin Button, which is something Trump’s physical claimed when it said AI was used to suggest that Trump’s cardiac age is 14 years younger than his biological age.
Dr. Oz didn’t get his information about Trump’s health from other real live doctors. His source for Trump’s medical report was Donald Trump.
The more this White House exaggerates Trump’s health, the more obvious it is that there is something wrong.
Healthy presidents don’t take four physicals in less than two years. Doctors are monitoring or treating something, and the White House refuses to be honest with the American people.
No one is being fooled by this, and the questions about Trump’s health are getting louder.
