Donald Trump is the Real Insurrectionist
When this country was faced with a deadly insurrection incited by Donald Trump, he placed no call to defend the officers at the U.S. Capitol. Trump left officers slipping in each others' blood.

Donald Trump and his administration are falsely calling the protests against the immoral ICE-raids an “insurrection.” White House Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt falsley called protesters “insurrectionists” today.
Trump’s vision for this country is so dark that his Attorney General Pam Bondi is not only justifying Trump’s pardoning of the violent January 6th insurrectionists who attacked law enforcement for Trump, but she also tried to suggest that people protesting others being kidnapped off the streets by unidentified officials in unmarked cars is worse than Trump’s pardons for January 6th.
“Well, this is very different," Bondi said Wednesday. "These are people out there hurting people in California right now. This is ongoing."
In reality, when this country was faced with a deadly insurrection incited by Donald Trump, he as the president placed no call to defend the U.S. Capitol. The trauma from that day is ongoing for the officers Trump abandoned to his mob.
Donald Trump left police officers slipping in their own blood.
Donald Trump left police officers alone, trying to flee from his armed mob after the officers lost the line.
Donald Trump left police officers so traumatized that U.S. Capitol Police Officer Caroline Edwards testified, “What I saw was just a war scene… It was something like I’d seen out of the movies.”
Donald Trump called the people who violently attacked law enforcement, chased law makers and tried to find Mike Pence to hang him “unbelievable patriots.”
Donald Trump made them into heroes, playing a “J6 Prison Choir” recording at his rallies and calling them “hostages.” Over 950 January 6th insurrectionists were convicted. Of those held (“hostages”), “In most of those cases, a judge found overwhelming evidence that the defendants had committed criminal acts of violence against law enforcement.”
Donald Trump not only defended those who violently attacked law enforcement, but he also pardoned hundreds of them.
Several officers subsequently took their own lives.
If this country were facing a real insurrection, we already know that Donald Trump is the kind of weak man who would fail to do his duty to protect law enforcement officers. We already know that Donald Trump would fail to do his duty to send reinforcements in.
In 2020, speaking about protests in Portland, Trump admitted that he couldn’t call in the National Guard because to do would be illegal. The only way he could is if it were an “insurrection.” Hence, his false labeling of the protests as an “insurrection” now.
“We have to go by the laws. We can’t move in the National Guard. I can call insurrection but there’s no reason to ever do that, even in a Portland case, we can’t call in the National Guard, unless we are requested by a Governor,” Trump said then.
The only time Donald Trump will send reinforcements in is when they are not needed, so he can provoke the violence to which he’s so addicted.
Donald Trump wants to turn this country into a third world war zone. He is taking a “great” country and turning it on its head, destroying our economy, our supply chains, our national security, our basic rights, our sense of humanity, and so much more. He is doing everything he can to punish people, because he lives to inflict pain on others. The destruction of the United States is Donald Trump’s happiest place.
When his administration lies to the American people by claiming that he had to violate the law to call in federal troops to Los Angeles after people became so outraged by the moral crisis he caused by kidnapping people off the streets and from Home Depot without due process, know that the Real Insurrectionist is speaking.
The man who was charged with crimes against the United States, the man who tried to overthrow the government in a failed self-coup, is the man claiming that people who are morally objecting to his inhumane human rights abuses and attacks on the most precious freedom of the First Amendment are somehow “insurrectionists.”
It’s very hard for Donald Trump to find new lows, but this is one. Calling protesters “insurrectionists” is a new low for Donald Trump.
The real insurrection was incited by this president, and left lasting damage that continues to this day in both the people and the law enforcement left to fend for themselves as they tried to do their duty to their country.
Donald Trump failed on that day to do his duty for this country, and he continues to fail this country every single day because dereliction of duty is his modus operandi.
Don’t let them gaslight you. Donald Trump is the real insurrectionist.

Unlike Jan 6 when officers shouted, we lost the line. Today we are about to lose our Country🤬
I live in Spokane Washington- a quiet city near the Idaho border. Yesterday an immigrant individual was grabbed when leaving her hearing (sound familiar?) which led to a protest, involving a prior city council member. This individual was arrested for his part in the protest, we had curfew imposed, tear gas set off at the protesters- another example of something that didn’t need to happen. This person who was grabbed has been working her way through the legal process required and that didn’t matter- she was not a “violent criminal “- so I feel that Trump is getting his wish. He is turning our country into a nightmare for so many.
