It started months ago. After roughly three weeks of being in office, Donald Trump’s poll numbers began to drop. As Trump unleashed his tariff and immigration policies, a majority of Americans started to say no. As inflation has increased and job growth has dwindled, the voices saying no have gotten even louder.
The Jeffrey Epstein scandal was conceived and birthed by Donald Trump because he reversed course on his supporters and refused to release any more information on the Epstein case.
The political blowback has been unrelenting, and Trump has not been able to regain control of the national conversation.
For the first time in ten years, Donald Trump is not guiding the political discourse, and when this is combined with a scandal that won’t go away, and a collapsing economy, the end result is a president who is scared.
