Donald Trump Has A Pennsylvania Problem And He Knows It

Candidates don't usually attack the state that is holding the presidential debate, but that is what Trump did, because he knows he has a problem in the Keystone State.

Trump Attacks Pennsylvania

If you have paid attention to any election coverage over the last few months, or even years, and judging by the fact that you are reading this newsletter, you almost certainly have been, you’ve been told how vital Pennsylvania is to the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.

Since Vice President Kamala Harris became the Democratic presidential candidate and generated a level of enthusiasm that wasn’t previously present, Pennsylvania has become even more vital for Donald Trump.

The ex-president was fantasizing about expanding the electoral map and flipping blue states after his debate with President Biden. The landscape has shifted, and now he finds himself having to defend red states like Florida and a swing state that he won twice in North Carolina.

Trump doesn’t have a lot of paths to the presidency. His primary path is to win Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan, along with every other state that he carried in 2020. The biggest Electoral College prize in the Blue Wall is Pennsylvania. Without it, Trump will lose the election.

Donald Trump also has a tell. When it looks like he is going to lose an election or a state, he claims that the election in the state was stolen from him before any ballots are cast.

Trump recently did this to Pennsylvania by posting on Truth Social, “An interview by Tucker Carlson of an election expert indicates that 20% of the Mail-In Ballots in Pennsylvania are fraudulent. Here we go again! Where is the U.S. Attorney General and FBI to INVESTIGATE? Where is the Pennsylvania Republican Party? We will WIN Pennsylvania by a lot, unless the Dems are allowed to CHEAT. THE RNC MUST ACTIVATE, NOW!!!”

Pennsylvania has one of the nation’s best mail-in voting systems. It was also revealing Trump was asking his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, to activate the RNC.

Trump Knows He Has A Pennsylvania Problem

While I haven’t seen any internal polling that Donald Trump may have access to, the public polling all points to Trump having a Pennsylvania problem. Donald Trump leads in exactly zero credible Pennsylvania presidential polls. In some polls, he is tied. He trails by a little in other polls, but Donald Trump isn’t winning in Pennsylvania.
