Biden Raises Huge Sum Of Money Thanks To Grassroots Democrats

No one should gloss over what happened at the first presidential debate, but a more important story is emerging. Rank-and-file Democratic voters seem to be standing with the Biden-Harris ticket.

The Biden campaign announced:

Team Biden-Harris announced that it raised $264 million in the second quarter of 2024, pulling in $127 million in the month of June alone – the campaign’s best month of the cycle and outraising Donald Trump’s campaign for the month.

June’s $127 million haul was not just Team Biden-Harris’ best month overall, it was the strongest grassroots month to-date. Nearly two-thirds of June's raise came from grassroots donors, and of the $38 million raised following the debate, more than $30 million came from grassroots donations.
