The generational change in the House for the Democratic Party began when Hakeem Jeffries took over the top leadership position from Nancy Pelosi at the beginning of the current Congress. Rep. Pelosi (D-CA) will be regarded as one of the greatest Speakers of the House of all time. Pelosi and her leadership team also trained the current House Democratic leadership team and made the transition from Pelosi to Jeffries seamless.
