In case you were curious about what the Saudis purchased for the billions of dollars that they have given the Trump family, the big prize was unveiled on Wednesday.

The Trump administration has agreed to a deal with Saudi Arabia that will allow it to have a nuclear program, which could lead to the development of nuclear weapons.

At the same time that Trump is fighting a war with Iran to, in his words, prevent them from getting a nuclear weapon, the president is giving the Saudis a nuclear program of their very own.

This seems like a bad idea, because it is. If there is one thing that the Middle East and the world do not need, it is more nuclear weapons in the region.

The good news is that Congress gets a say in any deal that Trump has made with Saudi Arabia that involves nuclear weapons.

Democrats in the House and Senate are not wasting a moment in putting together their effort to block this agreement. Even if they can’t stop it, Democrats can create a massive political headache for Republicans ahead of the midterm election.
