Ending The Week On A Positive Note
This has been a rough week for news. Anyone who watches a lot of cable news must have a stress level that is off the charts. Cable news is still obsessed with the situation in Israel and Gaza, but a Middle Eastern war was bumped off of the top of the headlines by a horrific mass shooting in Maine, and in the middle Republicans elected an election-denier Speaker of the House.
It appears that we all could use some good news, and it came to us Friday evening in Colorado where the Colorado Supreme Court told Trump that he could not have an emergency stay of the trial to disqualify him from the ballot and the trial would start on Monday.
