British Host Destroys MAGA’s Alex Pretti Propaganda

Behold, a British radio host takes on MAGA talking points and demolishes them with facts and reason and an allergy to BS.
British radio talk show host Tom Swarbrick destroyed MAGA surrogate Jenna Ellis’ sick justification for ICE’s murder of 37-year-old American citizen Alex Pretti, who was an ICU nurse for the Minneapolis VA Health Care system.
Ellis cited minimizing “agitators” as a primary goal of ICE, as if somehow shooting American citizens is justified if they are agitating.
Ellis tried to suggest that Holman would make things better by minimizing the “agitators’ confrontations,” which is a nifty way of avoiding making any changes to how ICE is operating, which is the actual problem.

“So we need to look at the facts. I think that Tom Holman, who is very experienced, even won an award under President Barack Obama, who is a Democrat, I think he needs to come in and enforce the border, but ensure that they’re doing this in a way that minimizes these agitators’ confrontations as swiftly as possible.”
Tom Swarbrick wasn’t having that, “Minimizing the agitation — the agitators’ confrontation might involve not shooting them dead.”
A pause while we define agitating: "Agitating" means to stir up, disturb, or excite someone emotionally (making them worried, angry, or anxious) or physically (shaking a liquid); it also means to try to stir up public support or opposition for a cause, often through debate or public action. It describes actions that cause restlessness, tension, or passionate promotion of change, like a storm agitating the water or a group agitating for new laws.”
There is nothing inherently illegal cited in the definition of agitating, but it does suggest that MAGA see disagreeing with Trump policy as justification for murder and loss of all Constitutional rights.
Ellis then claimed that people shouting obscenities at law enforcement can justify being murdered.
“I mean, if you’re up in law enforcement face and you were shouting obscenities like this, and you have done with you, then, well, that’s that is police force and what constitutes appropriate response is dependent on the circumstances. Some of these shootings absolutely are justified, and so what’s the argument to say that he deserves it or not?”
She blamed being an “agitator” — also known as an American exercising their First Amendment right — and you bring a gun — also known as an American exercising their Second Amendment right - it justifies murder, especially because a gunshot went off.
She forgot to mention that the gun went off after the ICE agent removed it from Pretti’s holster.
“But I think that when you are an agitator and you choose, as is, your constitutionally protected right to take a gun to a protest, and then you get up in law enforcement space, you refuse to back down of the situation. And when you look at the full context of the video, there was a gunshot that went out. There were people saying, gun, gun. This is not something.”
Tom Swarbrick fired back, “And it was removed from him by ICE officials. It was taken away from him, and he was shot and killed.”
Ellis responded, “And you’re seeing in in real time from the luxury of your studio. You are not on the ground as an ice agent, not knowing what’s going on.”
Swarbrick again pushed back on this absurd notion that if an agent doesn’t know what’s going on they should aim at an American citizen and fire at least 10 shots at them in a span of approximately five seconds.
“These officers, it’s a very difficult job, but they do those very difficult jobs. That is not a justification for shooting them in the shooting them dead, to say it’s a very difficult job.”
Ellis then used the MAGA talking point that is so abhorrent, which is that nobody wanted this to happen, but if Pretti didn’t want to be murdered, he shouldn’t have been at a protest and he should have been “submissive” to law enforcement.
In reality, Pretti was submissive to law enforcement during this altercation. A group of agents grabbed him, dragged him to the ground, took his gun and then fired at least ten times at him.
He was not obstructing them at the time, and before this he had been rendering aid to a woman ICE had assaulted.
