Biden Delivers The Jobs That Trump’s Trickle-Down Economics Promised
Back in 2016, as a candidate, Donald Trump promised to create 25 million new jobs in a decade through an economic plan that turned out to be a massive tax cut for the wealthy and corporations.
Trump did not come close to the 25 million promised jobs. In the first three years of his presidency, Trump created 6.6 million jobs, which was 1.5 million fewer jobs created than Obama’s first three years.
Trump could not keep up with Obama, who inherited an economy that was amid the Great Recession.
This fact is a stinging indictment of the failure of trickle-down economics, but the death blow for trickle-down has come from President Joe Biden.
