Biden Hits Trump With A Philly Special As The Real Campaign Begins
As Biden and Harris rallied in front of an enthusiastic Philadelphia crowd, Trump constantly complained about being in court.

Biden Rolls Into Philly
President Biden and Vice President Harris held a campaign rally in Philadelphia, PA on Wednesday afternoon, and I felt that it deserved space in this newsletter, because mainstream media is on Trump verdict watch, and paid scant attention to a very important event in a critical swing state that unless an American was watching television between 2:30 PM and 3 PM ET on a weekday might not have known happened.
Watch the whole Biden-Harris event below:
Vice President Harris announced some big news on medical debt when she said, “We also took on the issue of debt, which makes so many people feel like they can never get ahead. Take, for example, medical debt. We are now making it so that medical debt can no longer be included on your credit score. So that medical debt cannot impact a person's ability to get a car loan, an apartment lease, or a home loan.”
That is a big deal, as medical debt has ruined the credit and the lives of millions of Americans.
When President Biden was introduced by Vice President Harris, he received the sort of loud, energetic, and young ovation that Donald Trump can only dream of.
Biden’s theme was promises made and kept, and he said in part:
The Supreme Court blocked me from relieving student debt, but it didn't stop me -- so far, I have relieved student debt for nearly 5 million Americans. A significant number of black borrowers. So you can chase your dreams, start a family, by your first home, start a business and so much more. And guess what, it grows the economy. It strengthens the economy. And we are going to keep it going. A promise made and a promise kept.
And we are speaking of the courts because you voted, I was able to keep my commitment to a point in the first black woman on the United States Supreme Court. [Cheers and applause] Justice Brown Jackson. A promise made and a promise kept.
