The Unprecedented Biden Boom Beats Jobs Expectations

The new jobs report is out and it contains more good news for President Biden and the Democrats.

CNN reported that the US economy added 263,000 new jobs last month and:

The unemployment rate held steady at 3.7%, according to the latest monthly jobs snapshot from the Labor Department, released Friday morning.

Economists surveyed by Refinitiv had expected the pace of hiring to slow to a gain of only 200,000 jobs in November and the unemployment rate to stay flat at 3.7%.

As economists Jason Furman put it, this jobs report is encouraging for the economy not slipping into a recession:

Wage growth also shot up, so that is another positive sign for workers, but it means that inflation is going to stick with the US economy and the world for a bit longer.

So far, President Biden has made the correct economic choices.
