Bernie Sanders Drops A Bombshell On Republicans About The Obamacare Subsidies Crisis

A new report from the Senate HELP Committee compiled stories from Americans in 42 states who expressed fear that Trump's cuts to ACA subsidies are going to kill them.

Republicans have shut down the government because they want to raise the cost of health insurance and leave millions of people without access to healthcare.

The GOP can lie about illegal aliens getting healthcare, but they can’t hide from the fact that Republicans control the entire federal government and could fund the government at any time.

Republicans want the government closed, and without restoring the Obamacare subsidies, millions of Americans will be placed in a life-or-death situation.

Sen. Bernie Sanders and Democrats on the Senate HELP Committee released a new report that compiled the fears of terrified Americans in almost every state.

The policy decisions that are being made by Trump, Johnson, and Thune have real consequences on people’s lives.

Here are some examples:

• Laura from Wisconsin said, “I live in fear of whether or not I will be able to afford my life-saving treatment. I have a rare kidney disease that requires immunotherapy every nine months. I’m terrified I’ll die.”

• Brittanie from Utah said, “I’m already living paycheck to paycheck. I have insurance for myself and my two sons. Just bought a house that we can barely afford.”

• Joe from Pennsylvania said, “I am a small business owner and if my health care costs continue to rise, I will be forced to close my business and look for a job if I can find one.”

• Patricia from California warned, “If our local clinics and hospitals close, as they are likely to with federal funding disappearing, people will die.”

Obamacare has become one of the backbones of the American healthcare system. If the subsidies are torn away and not restored, things will change dramatically and quickly.
