Barack Obama Predicted Trump's War With Iran In 2018
Former President Barack Obama warned the American people in 2018 that either a nuclear Iran or a new Middle Eastern war would be Trump's options after withdrawing from the nuclear deal.
If Trump thinks that he is going to be able to create regime change in Iran only with airstrikes, he is going to be disappointed. Experts have warned that it would take a full scale invasion, that means US troops on the ground, to enact a regime change in Iran.
Trump has shown zero interest in a full war with Iran. Instead, he is hoping for one big airstrike to force Iran into a ceasefire.

Those who understand Iran, its military, and defenses have tried to make the case for years that this strategy won’t work.
It was reported previously that Trump had settled on the airstrikes strategy because his generals could not assure him that a larger operation would be successful.
Because looking tough is more important to Trump than being smart, lives are being lost and members of the US military are being endangered, because this president wants to put on a show.
The seeds were sown for this day to come back in 2018, when the first Trump administration withdrew the United States from the Iran nuclear deal.
Iran had not violated the deal, but Trump was trying to erase Obama’s successful presidency, so he ripped up the agreement and promised to negotiate a better one.
At the time Trump withdrew from the agreement, former President Obama released a statement in 2018 that predicted exactly what has happened in 2026.
