As Republicans Make Fools Of Themselves, Joe Biden's Taking On Cancer

While House Republicans make fools of themselves attacking Biden with unsubstantiated impeachment threats, President Biden is trying to solve cancer. Literally.

The contrast could not be starker.

In one corner, a public servant, imperfect but shows up and tries every single day

In one corner, there’s a man who’s been a public servant his entire life, served in the Senate and in the White House.

This man has a late son named Beau who died of brain cancer in 2015 after serving as a major in the Army National Guard in the Iraq War. Beau Biden was also the Attorney General of Delaware, the state where many banks are organized.  He supported the fight against the corruption of the banks who were improperly foreclosing during the 2010 foreclosure crisis with then Attorney General of California Kamala Harris.

His other son Hunter is the target of unrelenting harassment by House Republicans, who’ve now publicly shared stolen nude photos of Hunter during a House hearing in their attempts to shame and humiliate a man who’s biggest crime is being a drug addict who suffered horribly when his brother Beau died. Hunter is currently being charged for misdemeanor tax charges and a gun charge under the federal statute that makes it illegal for an addict to own a gun, which is currently being fought in the courts.

Neither of these are usually charged. But not only has Hunter Biden been charged, his plea deal was pulled in what looks like a political snit meant to appease an audience of one. And still, Republicans trip over themselves to try to tie Hunter to Joe in some nefarious dealings, including Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s hysteria over the “Biden family” selling its “brands.” You know, like Biden water, Biden steaks, and Biden hotels. Except those all apply to our defendant guy and his adult children, not Joe Biden.

‘I’m not mad. please don’t put in the newspaper that I got mad.’

It looks like Republicans are trying to impeach Joe Biden so Trump can soothe his wounded ego over his own justified impeachments and the Republican Party has a better chance of selling the American people on an insurrectionist who attacked his own country.

So what is this man doing with his time in the White House as his only living son is hunted down and humiliated on a daily basis by his political opponents? Today he’s trying to solve cancer.
