Donald Trump is so invested in rewriting history that when combined with what looks like a decline that he seems to be completely detached from reality.

Joe Biden, due to his decades in Congress and having served two terms as Obama’s vice president, was ready to hit the ground running, which was part of the reason why he was elected. The nation was in the middle of a pandemic and needed an experienced hand to take control of a crisis that Trump failed to handle. It was a unique election determined by an unprecedented challenge.
Donald Trump was sent back to the White House because the American people were given little choice as Democrats decided to implode, kick out their nominee, and give Kamala Harris little time to mount a campaign of her own.
Some voters bought Trump’s claim that he could bring inflation and prices back to where they were before the pandemic.
Trump made it sound simple and easy. Vote for him, and things will get immediately better.
It was also a total lie.
The Trump campaign, with the help of the mainstream media, worked hard to cover up and rarely discuss the obvious signs that Trump was aging and potentially in decline during the 2024 campaign.
Now that Trump is back in the White House, his decline has been impossible to hide from the American people.
Trump’s return to the White House was never going to be about lowering inflation and costs. Trump and his family intended to use the presidency for personal financial gain, and a primary driver of Trump's second term is to rewrite history.
