Donald Trump’s political decline is catching up to his age related decline at a rapid pace. Trump is drawing smaller crowds to his rallies. The number of people who describe themselves as MAGA are dropping. The president’s poll numbers are approaching George W. Bush during the Great Recession lows.

Things are bad for Trump, and they are about to get worse.
The Art Of The Deal ghostwriter Tony Schwartz was on MS NOW’s The Beat with Ari Melber, where Melber asked, “ With him on the thing he used to do effectively. Maybe not well, maybe not good, but effectively, which is tell a story, a narrative. For him, it was self-serving. You're an accomplished writer. We've had you on the program before. You were, at that time, working with him on the story. And what do you think about the fact that he has failed now to find a story?”
The big problem that Trump is facing is that he isn’t trying to tell a story.
Trump is doing nothing but gaslighting the country and telling the nation that everything is fine.
Schwartz’s answer reflected Trump’s decline and what that decline may lead the president to do after he loses the midterms.
Schwartz answered:
Whereas in the old days, he had failures. He would explain the bankruptcies. He would talk about being able to shift. There was an interview where they said, "Oh, you're not a real-" He said a lot of CEOs would love to be on TV as much as him. He had a s- a backup story. Why doesn't he have a story anymore? Because what story is there? How does he explain 29%, 30% poll ratings? How does he explain every poll suggesting that there's gonna be a blue victory, if not a tsunami? How does he explain what is inexplicable?
And the answer is he can't.
And so he runs off to red districts. He builds ballrooms. He puts his name on endless numbers of things, none of which move the ball forward for the country, and none of which help him or Republicans politically.
That's, it's the power of insecurity taken to a whole new level. He's willing to s- in fact, what frightens me the most right now, I said this in 2016, that I was worried that if he had his hand on the nuclear button, there was gonna come a time when it might, he might just go over the top. That worries me again now, because going out with a blaze of glory is something I could imagine him doing. And I think it's very irrational.
Melber asked, “If he loses the midterms and he's then in this period, do you worry that he would do something more dangerous, more grave than what he's done thus far?”
Schwartz answered, “I do unequivocally worry about that.”

Trump has shown no regard for any human life other than his own. If Tucker Carlson is to be believed, Trump had no reservations about killing people in the Iran war.
Donald Trump will be checked if Democrats win the midterms. Trump will be a lame duck president. His political career will be sunsetting.
Trump isn’t going to give up his ownership of the Republican Party and media attention without a fight, and so the American people need to be prepared even if Democrats win in a few weeks.

Trump the demented distraction whilst Peter Thiel, Russell Vought, Stephen Miller, and others advance their agenda.
I agree 100%! I have been trying to tell people this for a long time!
