Alan Ritchson's Rage at Trump 'Raping the World' Shames The Media By Speaking Truth
This is what the media should be doing instead of gaslighting Americans. Reacher star Alan Ritchson's anger is the only appropriate reaction to Trump "raping the world."
Reacher star Alan Ritchson stirred up a lot of controversy during his appearance on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, during which he (like me) accused Trump of “raping the world.”

A lot of people are outraged by his political resentment and anger, but they’re missing the entire point. His anger is the only appropriate reaction to what Trump is doing to this country and to the world.
Ritchson said what every single person in the media and with any platform should be saying right now, “Look at the politics that we deal with right now. Like, the White House is in ruins, a fucking UFC cage on the lawn. And like, you just do it, you just fucking do it and nobody says anything and no consequences. Nobody asked. It wasn’t done legally, there’s no plan in place. Now you’re asking for money to create—like, it’s like, what are we doing? And there’s no consequences.”
“So like, I’m just supposed to let go of my resentment that this fucking guy is just raping the world that he lives in for whatever gain he personally can have? And I’m supposed to let that go? And then what, it fucking still exists? So no, I’m not going to let it go. I fucking hate it. I hate that that shit still lives in the world unabated, unchecked, unresolved. I think we should hold on to some of that anger.”
He also brought up the Epstein files recently on a different podcast. You know, the files this president used our tax dollars to pay FBI agents to redact his name and still hasn’t released them fully, in violation of the law.
“Get loud and stop bowing down to people that have power. You got power too, man.”
Inject this into my veins, because it’s one of the few times someone has responded publicly in a manner befitting the circumstances in which we find ourselves.
What else would we expect from a convicted felon rapist but to continue raping the world the way he raped the Kennedy Center? He does whatever he wants and the media expresses outrage insofar as it’s helpful for ratings at the moment, but there are no really tough questions being asked of this man or of anyone in the party that supports. him. Instead, we are treated to the gaslighting of “politics as usual.”
Even after he started an unnecessary, stupid war and gas prices are surging along with grocery prices and healthcare costs, even as neighbors are kidnapped off the streets and people exercising their First Amendment rights are thrown in jail or shot and killed by supposed law enforcement. They still treat him and his enabler party as just clever politics.
This is not normal. This is not okay. This is sick. This is infuriating. This is disturbing. This is hard to hold.
