Donald Trump just watched as his armed supporters violently attacked Capitol police and tried to assassinate his VP and Speaker Pelosi. But now, years later, he's ordered FBI and National Guard to DC.
I had to mute the sound of POS lying through his F***g mouth about sending troops to DC as my blood pressure soared to the stratsphere. MSNBC had the stats from the official FBI for crime in DC and the country. EVERY SINGLE STAT SHOWS LOWERED CRIME as he held up some scrap paper to justify his action. His little blonde ass kisser is on now using random stories to tell the country that we need his SS and Gestapo in our cities. I notice that they're conveniently ignoring the fact that his red states have higher crime and murder rates than the places he wants to take over.

I was in Madrid as a college student in 1979, 4 years after the death of Franco. For whatever reason, the Guardian Civil patrolled various high profile locales such as the Prado. My fellow travelers and I found it chilling the see machine gun toting soldiers walking the streets, keeping a suspicious eye on the passersby. I guess now tourists in DC, if there are any, can have that same wonderful experience.
I have been calling for a march on DC for months. So many people were ready to go, and I was working on logistics, partners, etc. People were ready and wanted more info. I kept saying if we don't do it soon, we won't be able to do it at all, and here it is. Somebody must have said something that people could or would show up by the millions so he came up with this bullshit.. He wants and has control of everything and everybody, and this is only the beginning. I lived in SW DC during the Obama years, and I rode the subways, walked the streets, and, like any city, there is crime. I call bullshit on this one. Say hello to 1984; it's only going to get worse unless he is removed permanently from Earth. WAKE THE FUCK UP AMERICA!!!!!.
Excellent point, he didn't/couldn't/wouldn't send the National Guard to stop the violent crowd on January 6, and now, without anyone asking for it, or for other "support," he sends them in, to quell the lowest crime rate in decades. They will do the same thing here that they did in L.A., walk the streets idly, occasionally terrify children, cause resentment and fear in adults. They may arrest some of the homeless folks who did not move "somewhere else" fast enough (has he thought of putting them in detention camps?). He is doing this to quiet the calls for D.C. to have complete congressional representation, this will be the excuse that "they are not ready."
How long before he invokes the insurrection act? At some point his minions will push the buttons on a protester and something will be thrown.
D.C. is a unique city where he can do his shit; sending troops of any kind to take over policing of another city will violate 10th Amendment. Again I imagine he will interpret any pushback as insurrection.
